As a complement to the immersive exhibit by Fernando Casasempere which paid homage to the earth and the many shifts it continues to undergo, this unique musical program brought awareness to that which is all around us. For the Earth featured the environmentally-minded music of John Luther Adams alongside more culturally focused music by Angelica Negron and Paul Wiancko. Caroline Shaw’s “Plan and Elevation” closed the concert and featured the ever-dynamic Hausmann Quartet.
