Inspired by The San Diego Museum of Art’s “Open Air” exhibit which includes the great sculptural works of Rodin, Zurbaran and Miro, this one-hour concert program will take place outdoors in the May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden at the Museum, encouraging listeners to truly engage with the open air and the transformations that can take place in nature over the course of an hour. Make Prayers to the Raven by John Luther Adams ,Forged Sanctuaries by Jonathan Bailey Holland, and Tree Suite by Hannah Lash anchor this powerful program that features the Hausmann Quartet, among others.
