For twenty years, Art of Elan has brought bold, boundary-crossing chamber music to audiences across San Diego County. This year, we celebrate our landmark twentieth anniversary season, Collective Wisdom, drawing on two decades of creative partnerships, artistic evolution, and community engagement to honor the shared voices and diverse traditions that have shaped, and continue to shape, our sound.
Collective Wisdom is, at its heart, a belief that no single voice creates something extraordinary alone. It takes many voices, many years, and many hands, listening and building together. That is exactly the spirit behind “20 for 20”: a campaign built not on one gift, but on twenty, each one adding its own wisdom to the whole.
The Ask
In honor of this milestone season, we are inviting twenty of our most devoted Art of Elan family, individuals who already give generously each year, to join a special circle of philanthropy: “20 for 20.”

This is a one-time invitation, not a new baseline. We are asking each “20 for 20” donor to increase their current annual gift to $20,000 for Season 20 only, as a personal expression of the collective wisdom that has carried Art of Elan for twenty years. Your regular annual giving will resume at its usual level the following season, or as your philanthropic circumstances permit.
Just as this season draws its strength from twenty years of voices coming together, “20 for 20” draws its strength from twenty individuals choosing, together, to make something extraordinary possible.

Sponsor Art of Elan's debut outdoor concert experience in the Anza-Borrego Desert. A chamber orchestra under an open sky, in one of the most striking landscapes in San Diego County.

Underwrite our festival collaboration with the Mingei International Museum, pairing live performance with the museum's celebration of folk art and craft from around the world.

Fund the 2nd year of our 3-year-long residency at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center in La Jolla, anchoring Art of Elan's presence in one of the region's premier cultural venues.
