In partnership with La Jolla Music Society’s ConRAD Kids Series

Step into a joyful and imaginative musical experience for audiences of all ages. This vibrant North American premiere brings together music, movement, and visual art in a program that sparks curiosity, hope, and connection.

Featuring a dynamic collection of works by Australian composers, these colorful pieces for string ensemble were created in collaboration with young people and are filled with energy, emotion, and storytelling. Live, improvised dance and student-created artwork and poetry add a rich, multi-sensory element to the performance.

Developed by the Hush Foundation, this project brought composers into adolescent health units across Australia, where they connected with young patients through music and shared experiences. The resulting works reflect a range of emotions, from challenge to a sense of possibility and resilience, highlighting the power of music to uplift and inspire.

With contributions from students at Curie Elementary and The Preuss School, this program celebrates creativity across generations.
