Tied to the Painted Prayers exhibit, this colorful program features the world premiere of a commissioned work written by LA-based composer Jory Herman for violin, cello and electronics (written for Kate Hatmaker and Alex Greenbaum), paired with a commissioned work for violin/cello by Eunike Tanzil, in addition to music by Kian Ravaei and “The Consolation of Rain” by composer David Bruce, written for oboe, harp, cello and percussion.
