Erica Erenyi holds a Master’s degree in cello performance from Carnegie Mellon University as a student of Anne Martindale Williams and a Bachelor of Music from Biola University as a student of Marlin Owen. She also studied with Peter Thiemann in Barcelona, Spain. Erica has performed with International Opera Theater in Italy, Academia Internacional de Música de Solsona, Spain, and the Henry Mancini Institute in Los Angeles. She performs locally for theatre productions (The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, and Broadway San Diego), with guitarist Fred Benedetti in Duo Alloro, and with jazz pianist Danny Green and his trio.
