Season 19: Visions
Art of Elan heads into its 19th year of boundary-pushing classical music productions with its 2025/2026 season entitled “Visions” - a celebration of the organization’s trajectory and its impact on the San Diego music scene. Art of Elan's rich history of collaborating with today’s most forward-looking artists and cultural institutions has firmly established it as a leader in innovative programming and meaningful community engagement. The upcoming season celebrates where the organization has been, where it is today and its visions for the future as it heads towards its milestone 20th anniversary in 2026-2027.
“‘Visions’ is a celebration of where we are in this moment and what has led us here,” said Kate Hatmaker, executive and artistic director of Art of Elan. “We have grown so much as an organization and as a city over the last 18 years and I’m proud to continue to contribute to the cultural fabric of our vibrant region. This season’s partnerships with the San Diego Central Library, Mingei International Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) San Diego, ArtPower, A Reason To Survive (ARTS) and La Jolla Music Society will help us continue to connect the dots between different art forms for people. Cultivating curiosity and building community have always been central to our mission and will definitely be reflected in this year’s programming choices.”
OUR IMPACT
Each season Art of Elan publishes a collective impact report to demonstrate how YOUR support allows Art of Elan to fulfill its mission of building community through music, and enrich the cultural life of San Diego by presenting exciting and exceptional chamber music concerts, simultaneously educating and exposing diverse audiences to classical music through innovative programming, the commissioning of new works, unique performance venues and personal connections with concertgoers.
